To feel most beautifully alive means to be reading something beautiful,
ready always to apprehend in the flow of language the sudden flash of poetry.

Happy Monday!

A lot of my inspiration comes from favorite books.  I have compiled a "Top Ten Business, Money, & Leadership Books" to share with you. What am I missing?  Send your favorite books to me please!

1. Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill
2. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki
3. The Richest Man in Babylon, George Clason
4. The Power of Focus, Jack Canfield
5. Stepping Out of Line, Nell Merlino
6. The E-Myth, Michael Gerber
7. Calculator Power, Jon Richards
8. The 4-Hour Workweek, Timothy Ferriss
9. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker
10. Discovering the Soul of Service, Leonard L. Berry

Here is a little quote from "Think and Grow Rich" that is inspiring me this week;

"If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a person's will--
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man
But soon or late the one who wins
Is the one WHO THINKS HE CAN!"

Now that elections are over and everyone knows the outcome, perhaps buyers are ready to pay attention to the fact  that prices are low and interest rates are terrific.

The stock market hates uncertainty and it appears home buyers feel the same way.  In the last five days the DOW has gone up 3.6% and all three major indexes closed at two-year highs.  Both the DOW and S&P  logged their biggest weekly gains in more than 2 months.   Additionally 151,000 jobs were added in October and the unemployment rate held at 9.6%.    While these are not necessarily directly related to real estate, consumer confidence can be influenced by announcements such as these.

Happy Monday!  Have an awesome week!

Warmest regards,

Anthony
